Working in small teams, the group is given access to all
the tools and equipment they need to recreate a masterpiece.
Each team will work on a separate part of the painting, which
is divided up into a grid. The session will start with an
exercise focusing on communication using cartoons and small
images to develop the required skills. This is followed by
a brief introduction by a professional artist and tuition
in using a range of painting media. Teams have to use artistic
and creative skills to produce their part of the painting,
as well as communicating and negotiating with the other teams
to put the finished product together. At the end of the session
the painting will be displayed. The completed masterpiece
will be professionally finished and shipped to your offices
for everyone to admire. The aim - to work as a team to recreate
or re-interpret a well known masterpiece.
Activities include:
Painting on real canvas; working with a variety of painting
media; putting together the completed sections to form a final
masterpiece.
While this activity will produce great benefit on its own,
we recommend a facilitator
to achieve best results.
