Participants are required to write, choreograph and film
a trailer for the sequel to 'The Italian Job'. They also get
to work with world record-breaking stuntman Russ Swift on
two wheels and four!
Prior to the event, an evening can be spent watching the
original 'Italian Job' on a giant video screen. The following
morning is spent learning driving skills with Russ (who did
the Mini stunt driving in the recent re-make of The Italian
Job) along with camera operation and script-writing. Following
lunch, cameras roll and tyres squeal as filming begins. After
several takes, the film goes through to be edited to be watched
later over dinner. This can be followed by a glitzy award
ceremony.
Activities include:
Stunt driving - including hand brake turns and J & Y turns
Over steer and under steer slides
Creative script writing
Sourcing of props
Make-up
Camera operation
Video editing
Acting
While this activity will produce great benefit on its own,
we recommend a facilitator to achieve best results.
