Colorvote is a revolutionary new surveying tool. It's simple
to use and providing instant, easy to interpret feedback.
Colorvote is a tailor-made online survey in which the opinions
of individuals are canvassed on key issues. It can be used
to survey employee engagement, customer satisfaction or leadership
performance. The survey can be used internationally with questions
posed in different languages as required.
The use of colour to grade responses eliminates confusion
caused by language and means that the results can be read
and understood in an instant.
Results are displayed as colour-coded matrices, which clearly
highlight consensus and disagreement. This means the surveyor
can avoid spending time on items where there is already a
consensus and focus on those where opinions are divided. Results
can be re-tabulated by issue, by level of agreement, or by
individual contribution.

online
The survey can be carried out online with an unlimited number
of participants located worldwide.
Being internet-based, Colorvote is internationally accessible
and not constrained by time zones, language or the number
of participants. Unlike paper surveys it is quick, easy to
use and fully accountable so that at any time you can identify
who has yet to enter their response. This means that Colorvote
can be used repeatedly as a kind of temperature test, ideal
if you want to gauge the impact of a new initiative or campaign. We
liaise with the survey leader to establish themes and prepare
the statements. Participants are then invited to register
their opinion on a range of items that have been identified
as relevant. Items are short statements, for example, "I
have a clear vision of my targets for this month". Responses
are given by selecting a colour (from green for "totally
agree" to red for "totally disagree").
live
Surveys ensure that discussions in meetings can focus on the
most important issues rather than getting stuck in the minutiae.
First the Colorvote facilitator works with the meeting host
or chairperson to identify the issues on which opinion is
required. Statements are drawn up for each issue and a vote
taken using electronic keypads.
The results are presented immediately on screen with the
statements where the majority strongly agree at the top and
where they disagree at the bottom. These statements therefore
require little or no debate as a consensus is already evident;
the discussion can then focus on the statements where opinion
differs.
The facilitator leads this discussion ensuring all views
are aired before a second vote is taken at which point we'd
expect to see consensus. If agreement isn't achieved those
who dissent can be asked what would need to change for them
to agree and decisions can then be taken accordingly.
In a live meeting it is even possible to present new statements
as issues arise and take multiple votes; our facilitators
are skilled in leading this process.
